The Smoky Mountain Jamboree is a nightly stage show featuring country music‚ bluegrass and gospel music by a versatile group featuring banjo‚ fiddle‚ steel guitar‚ lead guitar‚ electric bass and drums. It takes place in a nice‚ spacious theater in the Saunook Village shopping center in Cherokee‚ where there is a concession stand and a table where tapes made by members of the house band are sold.

Directions: From Highway 74‚ take exit 74 and travel toward Cherokee. Continue through 3 stoplights and take a right onto Acquoni Road. Continue approximately .25 miles and take the next red light at the Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Long John Silver Restaurants. Pass under 2 more stoplights and begin looking for a "fun park." Enter Saunook Village on the right. Pass several shops and drive over the bridge. After the bridge‚ look for a sign for the Smoky Mountain Jamboree. The Jamboree is across from the Best Western Hotel.
