Schedule: Second Saturday night of each month

On the second Saturday night of each month a gospel singing is held at the OCAW Union Hall in Fairlawn‚ VA‚ just outside of Radford. Around 7pm various gospel groups start to play. Midway through the evening there is a short intermission in which light refreshments are available‚ door prizes are given away‚ and a collection plate is passed to take up money to pay for the use of the building. With a lot of gospel groups in the area this event provides a place where established groups can perform and new groups can get started. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Directions: Traveling from Roanoke on Interstate 81 take the first Christiansburg exit. Travel 3 miles following the signs to Blacksburg. Take the Peppers Ferry Road and follow it to Fairlawn. The OCAW Union Hall will be before you get to Route 11; it is across from the Food Lion Plaza. The Union Hall is a blue metal building and it has a large round sign out front.
