Schedule: Every Friday Night

VFW Post 4522 hosts bluegrass and old-time dance music in a family-friendly atmosphere every Friday night. Along with the music and dancing‚ this get-together features an array of refreshments--most notably homemade cakes and chili hot dogs (the chili recipe has been in use for over half a century). The admission price includes a ticket for door prizes. Kids are admitted free.

Directions: From Route 581 in Roanoke‚ take Route 460 east (Orange Ave.). Follow Route 460 for a number of blocks before turning right on to Gus Nicks Blvd. Gus Nicks Blvd. becomes E. Washington Ave. Turn right on to S. Maple Street and then right again on to E. Lee Ave.
