Schedule: Annually in July

The Roanoke FiddleFest is a weekend event combining jams‚ workshops‚ and concerts. Highlighting bluegrass and old-time string band music‚ fiddles‚ banjos‚ mandolins‚ and guitars are the main fare. Some of the participants are traditional Blue Ridge musicians. The three-day ticket includes on-site camping.

Directions: Follow interstate 81 to exit 146. From the exit follow Plantation Road approximately 2 miles to the intersection of Williamson Road‚ where you will turn left. Follow Williamson Road (also Route 11) approximately 1.5 miles to the entrance of Hollins University. Turn left onto Campus Road‚ and left again at the stop sign‚ and follow signage to parking/camping areas‚ Moody Center ticket & check-in area‚ and all other festival locations on campus.
