Schedule: Fourth Saturday of the month

The Shawsville Ruritan Club square dance is a relatively new gathering that raises money for the club’s scholarship fund. Fort Vause serves as the house band‚ but other musicians join in so the band members can get out on the dance floor now and then. The dance adheres to Granny Rules: No drinking‚ no smoking‚ no cussing‚ and no spitting on the floor. The price of admission is a donation ($5 is suggested)‚ and drinks are available for an additional donation.

Directions: The Meadowbrook Community Center is located at 276 Allegheny Spring Road near the corner of US Route 460/11 (Roanoke Rd.) and Allegheny Spring Rd.
