Schedule: First weekend in August
This bluegrass and old-time music competition is typical of the many fiddlers’ conventions happening virtually every weekend during the summer months somewhere in the Blue Ridge region. There is lots of jamming and socializing among the musicians‚ and visitors are welcome to listen. This event is sponsored by the Jefferson Rotary Club‚ and advance tickets are available from the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce. Check out the website for details!
Directions: Ashe County Park is located in Jefferson‚ NC one quarter of a mile from the intersection of Old Highway 16 and Highway 88. From Old Highway 16‚ turn left on Ashe Park Road. The Convention and the Park will be well marked.
