Schedule: Second Thursday of each month

This monthly gathering is part membership meeting and part informal bluegrass jam session. Visitors are welcome‚ and the first visit is free. The JMBA also holds monthly concerts (see their web site for details)‚ and members get a discount off the ticket price at the door. (As of 12/14/2009‚ the membership fee was $10.00 a year for singles or $18.00 a year for couples.)

Directions: From Lynchburg take Route 29 north to Madison Heights (just north of Lynchburg). Seminole Shopping center is on the right.
